It all Started...
In 1879 a group of worshippers gathered for the first time in this small chapel. The land for this church had been donated by Mr. Amlin for the church to be built on.
As the years went by the congregation added to the building a fellowship hall, offices, and bathrooms. Yet the chapel maintains it's intimate country charm complete with beautiful stain glass windows and a working bell. The worship style in the chapel is traditional with hymns.

A new generation...
At the beginning of the 21st century, as the congregation grew, Amlin UMC grew their worship space as well. The New Life Center was added to the property. The worship in the New Life Center (NLC) is a contemporary style with a praise band and visuals.
